I began my design career in 2001, working for a web design firm in my home city of Perth, Western Australia. My experience there gave me a solid entrance into the industry, where I completed web, branding, print and icon-design work for clients both locally as well as abroad. The opportunity to design for some high-profile companies such as Airbus and Cochlear, as well as smaller businesses in numerous markets worldwide, allowed me to develop a versatility and understanding of the larger design industry.
In 2005, looking for a change of scenery I moved to Canada. After working a ski-season in Whistler, I settled in Vancouver and continued my design career with a start-up software company, creating web and logo designs as well as online games. During the last few years I’ve worked with pioneering video game makers Electronic Arts, concentrating primarily on web UI and UX design for franchises such as FIFA, The Sims, Plants vs. Zombies and Command & Conquer.
My aspiration is to always create user-centred designs that are intuitive and functional but also aesthetically engaging and memorable. I have the versatility to create sharp, minimalist designs as well as much more illustrative work. I can work with you on anything from website and game design to brand identity, digital illustration and animation.
