The popularity of the annually released FIFA title spurned expansion of the franchise into the free-to-play, multiplayer market. FIFA World was created to reach a large, diverse demographic and promote a worldwide player community.
I was tasked with designing the website’s UI. With an emphasis on the constantly updating news and community feed, the main focus was to create a central hub for players and fans to learn more about the game and get the latest real-time news.
Implementing a multi-screen, video-based introduction promoting the game’s main highlights, the site then transitions to a CMS based content-feed. The design needed to be versatile enough to allow content managers to make updates while maintaining the FIFA World branding.
